Joel grew up in Naxxar, Malta, as one of ten siblings. Football and video games were a huge part of his life. He studied for a PE teacher and played semi-professional football for his hometown club until COVID brought both football and teaching to a sudden stop.

With more time on his hands, Joel turned to gaming content creation. He started posting consistently on TikTok and YouTube, and his audience quickly grew. Today, he has over 1 million followers across platforms and creates content full-time.

As the hours spent gaming, streaming and editing increased, so did the headaches. Looking for relief, Joel tried blue light glasses and noticed a real difference.

Later, while chatting with his barber and fellow gamer, Egi, the idea for Gameify was born. What started as a simple conversation became a business built around a problem they both understood.

Gameify was created for people who spend hours in front of screens, because we’ve experienced the strain ourselves and wanted a solution that actually helps.
